DJ JURGEN

DJ Jurgen was born in Delft on February 13th 1967.
He started his dj career in 1978 as a radio-dj with radio 'Stad Den Haag'. In 1985 he moved on to 'Radio Veronica', one of Hollands largest national radiostations of that time. Besides Radio he also started to do road-shows with them.

His name became known all over Holland and when house-music started, DJ Jurgen moved along with this new style of music into the clubscene. Since then Jurgen developed his own style which is a strong grooving techno-trance what he plays at party's all over the world, from Amsterdam to Ibiza to USA to Japan.

In 1995 he started producing and released his first record in 1996 at the label 'Colors'.
In 1999 DJ Jurgen had a huge worldwide succes with his single Better off Alone. The single reached a number ten position at the Dutch single charts and a number two position in the UK Pop top 20. DJ Jurgen also released the very succesful DJ compilations 'This is Jurgen part II' and recently 'DJ Jurgen I and II'. Last year his second single 'Higher and Higher' was released which became a big clubhit.
